Managing IP has recognized international law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP with a U.S. Firm of the Year – Trademark Prosecution (Midwest) award, and it named Dorsey Partner Gregory Tamkin as U.S. Litigator of the Year (Colorado). 

Winners were announced at Managing IP’s gala dinner in New York on April 25. The evening celebrated law firms and individuals who demonstrated significant intellectual property achievements in the Americas region. 

“I am honored to have been nominated and chosen by Managing IP for this award,” said Greg. “Dorsey has a number of excellent IP litigators who achieve great results for our clients. My recognition is a recognition for the large number of trial attorneys with whom I have tried cases.” 

As co-head of Dorsey’s Trial group and a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Greg has argued intellectual property disputes and commercial cases in venues all over the country, including winning international arbitrations, jury trials, and appellate matters. He routinely advises clients concerning all aspects of intellectual property matters, partnership disputes, securities cases, products liability issues, real estate litigation, and general contract claims.
